Frequently Asked Questions

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and PayPal. If you're a caveman (or cave lady) without a credit card or PayPal account and would like to pay via check or money order, contact steve@stevewear.com for info on alternate payment methods. Sorry, we don’t accept orders over the phone.

What is PayPal—is my payment information secure?

First of all, welcome to the internet. PayPal, the trusted leader in online payments, enables buyers and businesses to send and receive money online. PayPal has over 100 million member accounts in 190 countries and regions. PayPal protects your financial information with industry-leading security and fraud prevention systems. When you use PayPal, your financial information is not shared with STEVEWEAR. Once your payment is complete, you will be emailed a receipt for your transaction.

Do you ship internationally?

Nope… sorry. International Steves may be serviced in the future.

Do you ship to APO / FPO addresses?

Yes, we ship to APO and FPO addresses. Since we use the United States Postal Service, customers shipping to APO or FPO addresses should use their United States mailing address. Military Steves are the reason we have freedom.

What shipping methods are available and how much do they cost?

We only ship via the United States Postal Service and use Priority Mail. We realize that Steve’s time is one of the most valuable commodities on the planet and have found this shipping method to be the most cost effective way to deliver your shirts in a timely manner.

STEVEWEAR charges a flat rate of $4.95 for one to three shirts. Orders of four shirts or more ship free!

How long does it take for my order to ship?

We understand that waiting for STEVEWEAR is like waiting for the birth of your first child. Most orders will be processed and be mailed out within one or two business days. We keep all our shirts in stock but sometimes temporarily run out of a certain size of a design. We will send you an email right away notifying you of any out of stock situation. We will usually get the shirt back in stock within a week or two. If your order contains one or more shirts that are out of stock, then it will not typically be shipped out until all the shirts are in stock. Please feel free to email us at steve@stevewear.com with any questions about shipping or stock status of a particular shirt.

How do I track my package?

Priority Mail comes with a Delivery Confirmation number that will be sent to you via email when we ship your order. A Delivery Confirmation number is similar to a tracking number, however information about the progress of your shipment is usually not updated until the day your shirt is delivered.

What kind of shirt and printing process is used for STEVEWEAR?

As a Steve—you demand and expect quality. The founders of STEVEWEAR are also Steves and would provide nothing but the highest quality to our fellow Steves. After diligent research, we have found the most comfortable shirt produced right now is the Gildan Ultra Cotton 2000. This shirt is 100% preshrunk cotton, has an ultra tight knit surface, seamless double-needle stitching, and comes with a very comfortable tapered neck and shoulder line.

In addition, all of the lettering and logos on STEVEWEAR are 100% screen-printed. In a screen print, the ink is embedded directly into the fabric. The fabric actually absorbs the ink and gets dyed that color. This results in a very smooth feel to the t-shirt wearer because nothing is added to the t-shirt that you can physically feel. 90% of the shirts sold today on the internet are digitally printed or use a heat transfer. These shirts are inferior to STEVEWEAR for the simple fact that digitally printed shirts provide nowhere near the durability of a screen printed design and heat transfers are just plain uncomfortable or wrinkle/crack with time. Screen printing is the most costly option for producing a shirt—but we think the hand-made / comfortable feel, durability, and overall image quality are worth it.

What size shirt should I order?

Our shirts are 100% preshrunk cotton and are available in Large, Extra Large and Extra, Extra Large only. We have found the fit for each size to match exquisitely to what you would expect. If you are looking for more exact measurements, please refer to this chart:

 Measurement
(inches)
  Width
  Length
Large 22 30
X-Large 24 31
2X-Large 26 32

How can I make a change to my order?

If you made a mistake on your order or would just like to change something, please email us at steve@stevewear.com and let us know. If your order has not been shipped out yet, we should be able to make the change for you. Please include the order number (if you have it), the name the order was placed under, the email address used for the order, and what you would like changed.

I was sent the wrong shirt/I was sent a defective shirt. What now?

As you are aware, Steves never make mistakes so this question is moot… but just in case your package was hijacked by Somali pirates somewhere during shipment or there was an alien abduction of some sort then please follow these instructions:

If you received the wrong shirt or the shirt we sent you is defective, do not just mail it back to us. Please contact us at steve@stevewear.com with your order information and specifics on what was messed up, and we will take care of it for you… Steve style.

My name is Chad (or insert any other inferior name here). What about me?

Our condolences. Your best course of action right now would be to file a formal request for a legal name change through your local government jurisdiction. More information can be found here. Acceptable names that can be chosen in order to officially join the fraternity of Steves can be any of the following: Steve; Steven; Stevie; Stephen; Stephan; Stevan; Stefan; Stevon, Steve-O; or Stevie Boy.

If you for some reason choose not to change your name and figure it might be prudent to start your own company like MARKWEAR, TIMWEAR, BILLWEAR, etc… then the first thing you need to do is officially change the new apparel's line name to SUCKWEAR and then be prepared to hear from our  lawyer… who happens to be named Steve. Here is a fun fact… lawyers named Steve win 100% of the cases they bring to trial—so good luck.

I want more Steve sayings—where are they?

We understand where you are coming from… the more STEVEWEAR the better. We plan on expanding the STEVEWEAR line many times over and encourage you to revisit STEVEWEAR periodically to check if new inventory has been added. The best way to insure fresh STEVEWEAR is to order a shirt… profits made will continuously be reinvested into the STEVEWEAR line.

Do you sell shirts wholesale?

Retailers interested in wholesale information should contact us at steve@stevewear.com. Please include your contact information, what store you are purchasing for, and a valid employer ID number.

I have a great idea for a shirt! Do you want to hear about it?

Of course! Please email your idea to ideas@stevewear.com. If we end up implementing your idea on an actual STEVEWEAR licensed shirt... we will send you one with your new saying on it along with two other shirts of your choosing. The only thing better than STEVEWEAR is free STEVEWEAR.

If you have any questions that were not address here or you have some other concern please let us know at steve@stevewear.com
